This live concert CD is similar to being in a 31 Flavors ice cream store. There is something here for everyone.
There is a Celtic master mixed blend of original, traditional, and classic songs. Some of the diverse flavors are, Grateful Dead, Jethro Tull, Iron Maiden, and even Elvis comes back to life as a little sprinkle of Elvis flavor hits in for Dylan’s “It’s All Over Now Baby Blue”, showing good vocal range, along with “Ring Of Fire”, which is just plain fun.
Starting with the “Angus Overture” it is for sure no one will be sitting on their arse as this high energy Band’s original instrumental makes a statement. ”The Devil’s Dance Floor” firmly reinstates that perception. Of course what can one say about the good old drinking tunes of “Whiskey in the Jar” and “Drunken Sailor” except drink up boys for a good time is inevitable! “Broadsword”, “Paladin” and “Ye Jacobites By Name”, infuse a Celtic Highland warrior mode and one can feel the emotions of integrity and honor orchestrated in high energy. Ending with “It’s A Long Way To The Top”, the party has just begun, as you will play it again.
This CD is a good compilation of diversity. One song puts you in a mood and the next one is a surprise which beams you to another level.
