Spotlight on Celtic Christmas: The Malarkeys

The Malarkeys

From Kelowna BC Canada, The Malarkeys perform a repertoire of standard Irish pub songs with a mix of original songs, plus their own unique “Celtic mash-ups”, to create a compelling, entertaining and fun experience. Formed in 2007, the band released its debut album, “Bloody Brilliant”, on March 17, 2010. The album has hit the charts at campus/community radio stations from Alberta to Ontario, and has been featured on North American-based Celtic internet radio and podcasts, like Accuradio’s RadioCelt and Celt in a Twist.

Cats. Kilts. Science Fiction. Irish drinking songs. Nowhere else but from the bizarre imagination of Marc Gunn would those four elements be so riotously integrated.
