"I was wondering if you have kept track of the old MP3.com celtic musicians? I haven't found anything comparable since MP3.com shut down. I was wishing the other day that I could go down the charts because there were artists whose names I couldn't remember. Your site is a good thing, don't get me wrong, just wishing for olden days."
— Rex Deaver

"I just wanted to say thanks for Celtic MP3 Music Magazine. I'm very happy
with the songs I've downloaded so far - in fact I'm thrilled that most of them have been of such high calibre! Some really great songs and artists! And in case you're wondering if it's having much effect on CD sales, I can tell you I've already bought 2 CDs based on the music I've heard through
your magazine. Thanks again, and please keep up the good work!"
— Mike Disbrow,
Michigan
"Dear
Mr. Gunn, You are a man among men! May I say, as a avid Celtic music and
culture buff, I am beholden to you for keeping, and even expanding upon
the wonder of our ancestors, and the rich culture that they have handed
down, (whether blood or nay). I am very excited about getting the newsletter
and hearing the music you have made available to the me and the rest of
the public. Many Thanks."
— Lauren Spenla
"I
really am glad to have found the Celtic MP3s Music Magazine again. I used
to rely on MP3.com for finding the very good, but hardly known Celtic
music groups. Being a beginner-to- intermediate tin-whistler, I know that
listening is of high importance. I will be visiting the magazine often
and probably buying a few CDs!"
— Robert Kottke
"finally got a chance to download some of the
mp3s offered through the magazine and even more so I think that was a
BRILLIANT idea! I found some really great stuff that's on my list of things to get when I have a few extra bucks." — Michelle Osborne, New York
"This
is a wonderful site, especially for those of us in the hinterlands who
don't get enough Celtic music news and bands passing through the area."
— William Houston
"Funny
you should mention in your journal today about people spreading the proverbial
"Brobdingnagian word" to other artists out on the WWW. I did
just that a couple weeks ago when you suggested a tune by Serious Kitchen!
I was so taken by their music that I sought out their website and dropped
them a line telling them how I heard about them (ie. MARC GUNN of the
infamous Brobdingnagian Bards!). Even though I didn't ask them to, they
signed me up for their newsletter. I was MOST pleased. Keep up your brobdingnagian
work."
— Jen Clower-Brown, Texas
