Vote Celtic Podcast in Celtic Radio Music Awards!

The 2013 Celtic Radio Music Awards are now open for voting from now until March 17th. I was extremely excited that my performance of “Rising of the Moon” from Not Every Day Is St. Patrick's Day, was nominated for Best Roots Traditional.

Celtic Radio Music Awards

This is my first time nominated. I am extremely excited. So much so that I am asking for your votes. I would LOVE to win.

However, that's only one of the reasons I decided to blog about it. There are several bands who I have played in the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. I want to recommend that you vote for those awesome artists too.

Traditional: Burning Bridget Cleary and Colleen Raney are regulars on the show. The Willis Clan is a new addition.

Bagpipes: Highland Reign were on the show a while back.

Roots Traditional: ME, MARC GUNN!

Contemporary: The Gothard Sisters are regulars on the show. Jamie Smith's MABON will be coming soon. And as I said The Willis Clan are a new addition.

Looks like I need to email some of those other artists as well.

Ultimately, I want you to vote. So no matter what you do, VOTE! The polls are open until March 17th. You DO need to be signed up and logged into CelticRadio.net to cast your vote. Thanks so much for your consideration of all the artists of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast, the Voice of indie Celtic music online!

Cats. Kilts. Science Fiction. Irish drinking songs. Nowhere else but from the bizarre imagination of Marc Gunn would those four elements be so riotously integrated. He is the Chief Editor of the Celtic Music Magazine and host of the award-winning Irish & Celtic Music Podcast.
